Lavender Valley Acres and its owners Jag and Lynda Sodhi received a State of Oklahoma citation for celebrating their 5th Annual Lavender Valley Festival. The citation commends Jag and Lynda for their tenacity to grow lavender in the soil and climate of Oklahoma which was supposedly not right for the growing of lavender.

The RedBud Awards ceremony is an annual event that recognizes Oklahoma tourism attractions, convention & visitors bureaus, chamber of commerce, ad agencies, event managers and regional marketing organizations for their outstanding efforts to serve and promote Oklahoma's tourism industry.
